HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Here we go into a New Year and I can't express how grateful I am for the life lessons the past few years that have molded me into the person I am today. I am 100% self-efficient. I rely on myself and only me. This might sound super weird to you, but it was a goal of mine to have control of my own life and not feel like the world had control over me. I hope that makes sense to you. I don't usually make New Year Resolutions. I just strive to be a better person than I was the year before. I am content with myself and this has made me confident, I have been single for... well, it feels like forever. I am good with this(control of my own life) :) 
Well here we go into this journey we call life. We are going to have good and we are going to have bad, embrace it. Until next time

Alright here we go! One thing we know...I am horrible at keeping a blog

Here I am Saturday night...updating my blog. You might be saying to yourself "This chick has no life." Fact of the matter I do have. a. life. Might not be filled with a social life but, it is my life right now. Ever since I have started back to college a few years ago, I have noticed my social life progressively get non existent. I mean who has time for a night out when you are knee deep in school work. I will get to my point. Recently I have found myself feeling anxious. I feel like I should be graduated and have a career already. I have always had a picture in my mind of where I would be and doing at a certain age and  fulfilling that image I have imagined. I was starting to feel like I was standing in the middle of the 10 freeway at rush hour while everyone was zooming by me...well, I was just standing still. I felt like I had stalled and everyone around me was getting to where they are going. I hope this analogy makes sense. In my head it does :) but, typing it makes it sound weird. Soooo,I came across what someone wrote on another blog a few days ago and I for the life of me can't find it, but it went something like this...If you keep comparing where you thought you'd be with where you are, you'll never become the person you were meant to be.This spoke to me. It is so easy to focus on what you haven't  accomplished or what you haven't done in life (yet) and if you focus on just that it will hold you prisoner and not give you the opportunity to focus on where you are at and what you have accomplished. And that my friends is all I'm going  to post today! I will no longer be a stranger

Why o WHY do I not update this thing!

I decided to take a few mintues to update this! Hopefully more often now since I'm on the computer alot for my college courses.
Ella just started Kindergarten! My sweet little girl is gettin big quick.
I started back to school Aug 16th and I gotta say how motivated and happy Iám to be finally makin my way towards a career instead of a job. I will post pics soon =)

San Diego

We truly enjoy going to the San Diego! We stay the night and venture off into the city after going to the zoo all day! Here is a pic of Ella on her first trolly ride around the city!

How lucky do i feel? I 'am Lucky! Living at the beach is amazing...We get to endure the beautiful sunset with the ocean when ever we want!

4 1/2 going on 13!

Ella is growing up so fast. Can I just push the pause button...please!!!! Here is a picture of her in front of her Pre school! She picked out her own clothes for school today...actually matches!

It has been a looongggg time!

No excuses to why I have not updated this in forever! Last time I updated this Ella just turned 4...Now she is 4 1/2 and growing up to be such a beautiful amazing girl. I'm so blessed. Ella is in preschool a few days and can spell my name and her name! I will post some pics of us that are recent. Can't believe Christmas is almost here! Where did the year go? I'm turning 30 in March and am pretty much freakin out bout it.

Happy 4th Birthday Ella!

My girl turned 4 on Tuesday and I can't tell you how emotional it was for me! She is my one and only and it is going by too terribly fast. We went to the San Diego Zoo and Wild Animal Park!

Disneyland April 2,2009

We had such a fun time at Disneyland on Thursday! We go all the time however this time just seemed special! Ella road the Mickey Mouse roller coaster for the first time, and as well she actually gave Mickey a hug! We always go to the princess fair and Ella always gets her face painted! This time she chose a kitty face. Can't believe Ella will be 4 next week!

Beautiful Southern California!

I was driving home yesterday from work and realized that it was a beautiful sunny day coming to an end. I was stuck inside @ work all day,however i love working with Kacie so it made up for the loss of fun in the sun! I stopped by Fashion Island so i could see the Sunset...It was so great! You could see Catalina perfect!

Joining the blog world!

Hello everyone! I'm truly excited about joining the "blog" world. I'm going to keep everyone updated on mine and Ella's life. Ella and I have lived in Huntington Beach for 2 years now and I can't express to you how much I love being able to see the ocean every single day. My birthday is approaching and I'm celebrating my last year in my twenties...Can't beleive that next year I will be 30! Whoa! Ella will be 4 yrs old April 15th. How exciting! My sweet girl is growing up so fast. She loves barbies,dancing,and makeup.I will keep the blogs coming! Enjoy!
